Polo is not all about chasing a little white ball around the field, although many players world wide play the game that way. It however leads to a very linear, boring and often frustrating game.

By understanding the game dynamic, being aware of where your opponents and team mates are, and most of all knowing where the line of the ball and play is, you’ll massively increase your options on the field and therefore boost your chances of winning. As you have probably heard a hundred times over, good team-play always beats a team of better individual players.

In the daily practice chukkas, each student is paired against an instructor. This serves 2 purposes: firstly, you have to up your game against a better player, and secondly, the instructor is able to tell you where you should be looking, and what you should be anticipating.
